Das diw hat eine Studie in Auftrag gegeben: High-priced and dangerous: nuclear power is not an option for the climate-friendly energy mix (pdf, 10 S.)

• Analysis of the historical, current, and future profitability of nuclear power plants
• Consideration in terms of economic history and financial examination of net present values of investments in nuclear power
• Private economy investment was unprofitable in the past, and this also applies to new investment
• Due to danger of radioactive emissions and proliferation, nuclear energy technology is high-risk
• Policy makers should reject nuclear energy as an option for sustainably supplying energy

[..] And last but not least, when the entire life cycle is considered ( construction, operation, plant dismantling, and the nuclear fuel cycle), nuclear energy can by no means be called a carbon-free technology. One meta study determined an average value of 66 grams of CO2 equivalents per kWh for the greenhouse gas emis-sions of nuclear power plants. This is around 20 percent of the emissions of a gas-fired power plant.

Wenn ich das nicht schon Anfang der Achtziger gewusst hätte, dann wäre ich jetzt wirklich überrascht.
